1. Services Overview
BOI Blinds & Drapes specializes in custom window treatments, including:

All products are custom-made to order based on your specifications and project requirements.
2. Consultation and Estimates
2.1 Free Consultations
We offer complimentary in-home or virtual consultations to discuss your project needs, take measurements, and provide design recommendations. Consultation appointments are subject to availability and must be scheduled in advance.
2.2 Estimates and Quotes
All estimates and quotes provided are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise specified. Prices are subject to change based on material availability, market conditions, and project modifications. Final pricing will be confirmed in writing before production begins.
2.3 Accuracy of Measurements
While we take great care to ensure accurate measurements, you are responsible for verifying all dimensions before approving production. Once you approve the measurements and specifications, changes may result in additional fees or delays.
3. Orders and Payment Terms
3.1 Order Acceptance
Your order is not confirmed until we provide written acceptance and receive the required deposit. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion.
3.2 Payment Schedule
- Deposit: A deposit of 50% is required to initiate production of custom orders
- Final Payment: The remaining balance is due upon completion and before installation
- Installation Payment: Full payment must be received before installation begins unless alternative arrangements have been made in writing
3.3 Accepted Payment Methods
We accept payment via credit card, debit card, check, cash, and bank transfer. Credit card payments may be subject to processing fees.
3.4 Late Payments
Orders not paid in full by the agreed date may be subject to storage fees, interest charges, or cancellation. We reserve the right to suspend or cancel orders with outstanding balances.
4. Custom Manufacturing and Lead Times
4.1 Production Timeline
Custom window treatments typically require 2-4 weeks for production after order confirmation, though timelines vary based on product complexity, material availability, and current workload. We will provide an estimated completion date at the time of order.
4.2 Delays
While we strive to meet all estimated delivery dates, we are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:
- Material shortages or supplier delays
- Natural disasters, severe weather, or other acts of God
- Labor disputes or strikes
- Government actions or restrictions
- Changes or modifications requested by the customer
4.3 Custom Orders
All products are custom-made to your specifications. Due to the custom nature of our products, orders cannot be canceled once production has begun, and deposits are non-refundable.
5. Installation Services
5.1 Professional Installation
We provide professional installation services for all products. Installation is performed by our trained technicians or authorized subcontractors.
5.2 Installation Scheduling
Installation dates are scheduled upon completion of your order and receipt of final payment. We will coordinate with you to arrange a mutually convenient time.
5.3 Site Preparation
You are responsible for ensuring that the installation area is clear, accessible, and ready for our installers. This includes:
- Removing existing window treatments (unless removal service is contracted)
- Moving furniture and valuables away from work areas
- Ensuring safe access to all installation locations
- Providing adequate lighting and power outlets if needed
5.4 Installation Conditions
We reserve the right to postpone installation if site conditions are unsafe or unsuitable, including structural issues, electrical problems, or inability to access installation areas.
5.5 Rescheduling
If you need to reschedule an installation appointment, please provide at least 48 hours notice. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to rescheduling fees.
6. Warranty
6.1 Product Warranty
We stand behind our products with a comprehensive 10-year warranty covering manufacturing defects and workmanship under normal use conditions. This warranty includes:
- Defects in materials and construction
- Hardware failures under normal use
- Manufacturing errors
6.2 Warranty Exclusions
The warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear or fading due to sun exposure
- Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or improper care

6.3 Motorization and Electronics
Motorized components and electronic systems are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, typically 2-5 years depending on the brand. We will assist in facilitating warranty claims with manufacturers.
6.4 Making a Warranty Claim

7. Returns, Cancellations, and Refunds
7.1 Custom Products
Due to the custom nature of our products, all sales are final once production has begun. Deposits are non-refundable after measurements are taken and orders are placed.
7.2 Cancellation Policy
Orders may be canceled before production begins, subject to a cancellation fee to cover consultation time, measurements, and administrative costs. Once production has started, orders cannot be canceled.
7.3 Product Defects
If your custom product arrives with manufacturing defects or does not meet the agreed specifications, we will repair or remake the product at no additional cost. You must notify us within 7 days of installation.
7.4 Color and Fabric Variations
We make every effort to accurately represent colors and fabrics. However, actual colors may vary slightly from samples or digital images due to lighting, screen settings, and material variations. These variations do not constitute grounds for return or refund.
8. Maintenance and Care
8.1 Care Instructions
We provide care instructions for all products at the time of installation. Proper maintenance is essential to preserve the appearance and functionality of your window treatments.
8.2 Maintenance Services
We offer professional maintenance and cleaning services for an additional fee. Regular maintenance can extend the life of your window treatments and is recommended for motorized systems.
8.3 Repair Services
We provide repair services for products purchased from us, whether covered under warranty or not. Repair costs will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
9. Smart Home Integration
9.1 Compatibility
We offer motorization and smart home integration with systems including Somfy, Lutron, Crestron, and Control4. Compatibility depends on your existing home automation setup.
